Overview
We partnered with a North Carolina-based NGO called Pilgrim’s Progress from the 15th to the 25th of January 2023. This organisation works with drug and alcohol addicts, and its vision is to liberate leaders and help them to find their God-given purpose.
We spent a week with their team in Mavhuza, where they helped us at the Dream Centre, did ministry at the local primary school and with the youth of the village, and did some physical labour on our base. We then spent another week with them in Cape Town, where they helped us to facilitate a camp in partnership with MES. We worked with MES clients from the Change Readiness program, and the group of 35 was wonderful to work with.
Lastly, their team spent time serving alongside Living Hope in Ocean View, where they worked at the rehabilitation centre with recovering addicts who are stepping into freedom from addiction.
